This tool will be used by the Tournament Committee to collect winners and their email addresses for the GP TOC's, to audit hosting minumums, and verify that scheduled tournaments are being hosted. It is important that all tournaments for the month be reported no later than the 5th of the next month. Failure to report tournaments in the tournament tool may result in disciplinary action.

Host Expectations (Updated Monday, August 18, 2008)
Your Host status signifies you are an experienced, active host. While you are not required to host daily or even weekly, you must schedule eight (8) tournaments each month. If you have extenuating circumstances that do not allow you to do so, please contact the Tournament Committee by email at tournaments@gamingpeak.com. Any host who does not host at all for a period of one month will have his/her token removed. Any host who does not schedule the required 8 tournaments per month for two consecutive months will have his/her token removed unless prior arrangements are made with the tournament committee.
Host names cannot be created from club/group names. Your host name is unique. Be sure it is representative of these policies. Please be sure the host nickname you choose is above reproach and does not refer to controversial issues.
Review of Hosts
Once a host has been evaluated, declared trained and has received a token, there are no more regularly scheduled reviews. If a host has several complaints lodged against him/her within a short period of time, the hosting subcommittee will do an evaluation in an unknown player nickname to determine if the complaints are valid. If the complaints are found to be valid, the Complaints Subcommittee will contact the host to discuss possible solutions.
Host Designation
Tokened hosts may train others to host. Clubs are encouraged to train club members who wish to host. If an individual does not belong to a club or cannot get another host to agree to train him/her, he/she may contact the Training Subcommittee for training.
Once a host has been deemed trained by his/her trainer, he/she will be evaluated by a member of the Training Subcommittee. Upon a satisfactory evaluation, the Training Subcommittee Chair will request a token for the new host.
If an experienced host would like to host at GamingPeak, he or she should contact hosttraining@gamingpeak.com and list his or her experience. The Training Subcommittee Chair will meet with the applicant and help him/her to become familiar with GamingPeak CoC, hosting policy and tournament policy. The Training Subcommittee chair may then request a token for the applicant or arrange support necessary to acquire a hosting token.
Any host, including new hosts, should be familiar with CoC, hosting policy, tournament policy and scheduling policy. It is the responsibility of the trainer to make sure this information is provided during training.
Removal of Certified Host Status
If your host status is removed, you may not assist in a tournament in any way. This includes running rules, assignments, and the like.
Host Discipline Procedure
Violations of the Host Code of Conduct are subject to the following actions, as determined by the GamingPeak Tournaments Committee:
- First Violation: Meet with a Tournaments Committee member to discuss the issue and make necessary corrections.
